Photo from pardaphash.com.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MIRPUR, Bangladesh\u2014India claimed a 2-0 series win over Bangladesh after the third one-day international between the teams was abandoned due to heavy rain on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>India was 119-9 in 34.2 overs before the third spell of rain forced umpires to call off the match.<\/p>\n<p>Cheteshwar Pujara was the top scorer for the side with 27 while Stuart Binny was not out on 25. Suresh Raina also made 25.<\/p>\n<p>India won the toss and elected to bat first despite the humid and overcast conditions suiting seam bowlers, and Bangladesh\u2019s pacemen made regular inroads.<\/p>\n<p>Mashrafe Mortaza, Al-Amin Hossain and Taskin Ahmed bowled with controlled aggression to reduce India to 13-3 before the first rain delay.<\/p>\n<p>After the break, Al-Amin quickly removed Manoj Tiwary to leave India 16-4.<\/p>\n<p>Cheteshwar Pujara and Suresh Raina halted the collapse before the second spell of rain arrived, this time delaying the game to 2-1\/2 hours and reducing the game to a planned 40 overs per side.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the second rain-break Shakib Al Hasan removed Raina to end the 41-run partnership with Pujara, who then combined with Wriddiman Saha to provide further resistance before Shakib again broke through, dismissing Saha on 16.<\/p>\n<p>Binny took India past 100 as more tail-end wickets fell around him before the third spell of heavy rain forced the abandonment<\/p>\n<p>Shakib was the most successful bowler for Bangladesh with 3-27.
