(PCOO photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Malaca\u00f1ang on Thursday welcomed the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showing President Rodrigo R. Duterte\u2019s \u201cvery good\u201d net satisfaction rating of +56.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPublic confidence, as we can see, has remained high, notwithstanding matters and concerns the government is handling. We are thus grateful for our people\u2019s vote of confidence,\u201d Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a press statement.<\/p>\n<p>Roque said the SWS survey results would \u201cfurther inspire the President, along with the members of his Cabinet, to work double time in bringing the fruits of sustained and inclusive growth to the poorest and marginalized sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said the Duterte administration will continue to address the problems of drugs, crime, and terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>In a survey conducted among 1,200 respondents on March 23-27, the SWS found 70 percent of adult Filipinos were satisfied with Duterte\u2019s performance, while 17 percent were undecided and 14 percent were dissatisfied.<\/p>\n<p>According to the SWS, this gives a net satisfaction rating of +56, classified as \u201cvery good\u201d or two points below the +58 recorded in the last quarter of 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The two-point decline, it explained, \u201cwas due to declines of 11 points in Balance Luzon and 1 point in Metro Manila.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Duterte has earned a 12-point increase from +53 percent in December 2017 to +65 percent in Visayas in March this year and a two-point improvement in Mindanao.<\/p>\n<p>The SWS said the President still has an \u201cexcellent\u201d net satisfaction rating of +82 percent in Mindanao while it fell by one grade from very good to good with +39 in Balance Luzon, although it stayed very good in Metro Manila.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte has also earned a \u201cvery good\u201d net satisfaction rating of +56 in both urban and rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>The survey also showed that the President scored a \u201cvery good\u201d rating of +69 \u201cin all educational levels.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212; Malaca\u00f1ang on Thursday welcomed the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showing President Rodrigo R.
