His appointment came after Duterte consulted people in Davao City who said Albayalde was \u201ctoo strict,&#8221; a quality Duterte liked as he said, \u201cthe stricter the better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meanwhile, Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom) chief Lt. Gen. Carlito Galvez Jr. was appointed as AFP&#8217;s next chief of staff.
