{"id":158947,"date":"2018-04-06T04:43:35","date_gmt":"2018-04-06T08:43:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=158947"},"modified":"2018-04-06T04:43:35","modified_gmt":"2018-04-06T08:43:35","slug":"pnp-to-give-sc-drug-war-records-but-not-all","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2018\/04\/06\/pnp-to-give-sc-drug-war-records-but-not-all\/","title":{"rendered":"PNP to give SC drug war records but \u201cnot all\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Philippine National Police (PNP) is willing to give the Supreme Court (SC) the documents it is requesting regarding the deaths of alleged drug offenders under the Duterte administration\u2019s anti-narcotics campaign but just \u201cnot everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">PNP chief Ronald Dela Rosa reasoned that releasing a full list can put the lives of cops and civilians at stake.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe can\u2019t divulge everything because we have projects that involved not just policemen but civilians as well,\u201d he was quoted as saying in an Inquirer report.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dela Rosa\u2019s take on this is informants who gave them information leading to the arrest of the drug syndicates will be pitiful once these drug syndicates learn about it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Supreme Court earlier ordered the government to bare all records and other relevant documents on the government&#8217;s drug war but this was responded by Solicitor General Jose C.
