Reacting to this, Katy feigned suffocation which apparently showed that Josh hugged her so tight.

When Katy asked her fan several questions, Josh could not find the words for his answer as he was still stunned by the fact that the singer was just inches away from him.

“Tomorrow is my graduation,” Josh finally said, gaining applauses from Katy and the crowd.

When Josh sat down on the stage to compose himself, Katy joined him and the two continued with their Tagalog lessons.

Katy, one of the current judges of the 16th season of “American Idol,” asked Josh on how she should say phrases like “It’s great to be here” and “I love my KatyCats” in Filipino.

Katy then asked Josh the Filipino translation of the word ‘selfie’ and learned that it’s called the same. Josh gestured to use his phone to capture the priceless moment with the singer.

“Let’s graduate with style!” Perry said who willingly posed for a wacky photo.

Josh, Katy’s speechless fan, posted their photos on his Twitter account, with a caption in all uppercase letters that expressed his extreme excitement on what happened during the concert.

“Katycats omg Katy invited me to her Witness: The Tour stage and I’m about to cry walking up to her stage to teach her some Filipino words and I’m so starstruck to her I can’t answer her questions since I’m so overwhelmed and speechless from what is happening omg I’m shook forever,” Josh wrote.

In a follow-up tweet, Josh described the moment as “the happiest and bestest graduation gift ever.”

“Omg I can’t believe Katy made that with me to finally hangout with her or even meet her on the Witness: The Tour stage I will forever treasure the moments that we have on the event show I’m so blessedt [sic] omg,” he added.

It was the third time Katy visited the Philippines.
