As announced in KZ\u2019s official Facebook page, the Filipina singer \u201cwill proudly sing\u201d Freddie Aguilar\u2019s masterpiece, \u201cAnak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>KZ has repeatedly emphasized her wish to sing the Mandarin version of the famed song when she was in the competition \u2013 and this much-awaited performance may be her key to be officially entered into the competition again.<\/p>\n<p>(Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KZTandinganOfficial\/photos\/pcb.1618925271496614\/1618921554830319\/?type=3&amp;theater\">KZ wants to sing Anak in Singer 2018<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Kasi<\/em> (Because) aside from it\u2019s one of the most beautiful OPM (Original Pinoy Music) [songs] ever written, <em>sobrang sikat din kasi siya sa<\/em> (it is really popular in) China so kung <em>kakantahin ko man siya, lalo nilang maiintindihan kasi alam nila ang kanta<\/em> (if I were to sing it, they will understand it better because they know the song),\u201d she said in an interview with PUSH earlier this March.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>And alam mo \u2018yun, nakaka-proud na may<\/em> OPM song <em>na sobrang sikat sa ibang bansa na kung hindi nila trinanslate, hindi nila maiintindihan \u2018di ba?
