Photo courtesy of Roxas&#8217; official Facebook page.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas announced the activation of a text hotline \u2013 09176276927 \u2013 where the public can report complaints or any criminal activities in their localities.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Roxas said he will personally attend to the complaints texted to him, adding that this will ensure confidentiality of information received from the public.<\/p>\n<p>Roxas appealed to the public to provide the hotline with \u2018actionable leads\u201d or information with which the PNP can start investigation or follow-up action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHinihingi ko sa publiko na ipadala ang kanilang impormasyon na maa-aksyunan o may magandang lead sa nasabing hotline number,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPara sa ating mga kababayan na nag aalangan na mag report sa local na pulis o di sila nakakasiguro, ipadala lang po diyan ang info. Pero ang hinihiling po natin ay info na maaaksyunan po at may mga detalye.
