The finale of ABS-CBN\u2019s hit family drama series \u201cThe Legal Wife,\u201d starring Angel Locsin, Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador, and JC De Vera topped the list of the most-watched TV programs nationwide last Friday (June 13).<\/p>\n

According to data from Kantar Media, the episode dubbed as \u2018The End of an Affair,\u2019 hit its all-time high national TV rating of 36.2%, which was a record-breaking achievement for a show aired on the 9:15 PM time slot.<\/p>\n

The finale ratings was four times higher than GMA\u2019s \u201cAng Dalawang Mrs. Real\u201d (8.8%). Various hashtags related to the show also trended nationwide and worldwide via the microblogging site Twitter as netizens shared their thoughts about the ending of the entwined love stories of Monica (Angel), Adrian (Jericho), Nicole (Maja), and Max (JC). The series concluded with the four main characters choosing to forgive, move forward, and start anew.<\/p>\n

Directed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao, \u201cThe Legal Wife\u201d also featured some of the country\u2019s best drama actors such as Christopher de Leon, Rio Locsin, Mark Gil, Maria Isabel Lopez, Joem Bascon, Ahron Villena, Janus del Prado, and Matet de Leon.<\/p>\n
