Natural Resources\/ Facebook)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA \u2014<\/strong>\u00a0The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is seeking from the public short environment-related video materials for airing during the country&#8217;s 2018 Green Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We already have videos for airing throughout GFF, but parties interested in sharing their materials can submit these to us for possible screening as well during the festival,&#8221; said EMB information chief Elenida Basug.<\/p>\n<p>Basug said EMB would assess materials submitted, so the agency could choose which to air during GFF.<\/p>\n<p>The EMB and SM Supermalls Shopping Center Management Corp. are partnering on GFF, in cooperation with the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education.<br \/>\nLaunched at a cinema of SM North EDSA mall in Quezon City last Tuesday, GFF aims to raise public awareness on environmental issues.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is also in line with Republic Act No. 9512 or the National Environmental Awareness and Education Act of 2008.<br \/>\nVideos from various DENR units were aired during the launch, highlighting climate change and the Philippines&#8217;
