(ShutterStock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Citing growing Philippine-Canada trade, Canadian International Trade Minister Francoise-Philippe Champagne has expressed optimism that the trade relations of the two countries will further improve, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Champagne earlier met with Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires Francisco Noel Fernandez III at Parliament Hill.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the DFA said the Canadian minister noted Philippine Airlines\u2019 (PAL) purchase of passenger aircraft from Montreal-based Bombardier.
