Macky Mathay, has not changed a bit in the last two years they have been together.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview on \u201cMagandang Buhay\u201d on Friday, Sunshine said Macky has always been himself and that is what really matters to her.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c&#8217;Yung iba \u2018di ba kapag nanliligaw, may<\/em> best foot forward? <em>Kapag nanliligaw lang sobrang<\/em> effort <em>at sobrang bait, pero kapag na-<\/em>in love <em>ka na rin, nagbabago. Ang kagandahan kay<\/em> Macky, ever since, <em>pinakita niya kung sino talaga siya. Hanggang ngayon, &#8216;yun pa rin siya <\/em>(In some suitors, there is a best foot forward? When a suitor starts to court a girl, he will exert a lot of effort and is very humble. But if you fall in love with the guy, he changes. What is good about Macky is that, ever since, he showed to me who he really is. Until now, he was the same man)<em>,\u201d<\/em> Sunshine said.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cWildflower\u201d actress said it is also important for her to consider her children\u2019s feelings about their relationship. Sunshine has three daughters with actor Cesar Montano.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery important <em>sa akin [na tanggap siya ng <\/em>kids]. <em>Kahit naman noon na may nanliligaw or nagpapa-<\/em>cute, <em>ang usapan namin ng mga<\/em> kids, <em>magiging<\/em> honest <em>kami with<\/em> each other. <em>Lahat i-o-<\/em>open up <em>nila sa akin kung ano man ang gusto nila sabihin or ano ang nararamdaman nila. Ganun din ako <\/em>(It is very important to me that my kids accepted him. Even before when there were suitors, my kids and I had an agreement, that we will be honest with each other. We will open up all we have to say or what we feel. Same goes with me)<em>,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n<p>Macky, a businessman, fortunately got the approval of the actress\u2019 daughters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very happy right now <em>sa mga nangyayari. The two parted their ways after the actress claimed that Cesar was having an affair. This allegation was then denied by the actor. Nevertheless, Sunshine said she had learned a lot of things from her failed marriage.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMarami akong na<\/em>-discover <em>sa sarili ko nung naging <\/em>single mom <em>ako. Hindi ko alam na maraming bagay pala ang kaya kong gawin kahit mag-isa ako<\/em> like <em>magpalaki ng mga bata, maging<\/em> independent, <em>magtrabaho at kayanin ang lahat lahat pagdating sa mga anak ko <\/em>(I discovered a lot of things about myself when I become a single mother. I don\u2019t know that I can do a lot of things alone like raise my children, become independent, work, and endure everything when it comes to my kids)<em>,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI could honestly say that I have never been better. <em>Ngayon, talagang ang saya saya ko. Nakikita ko rin na ang mga anak ko ay masaya dahil sa nadiskubre ko sa sarili ko <\/em>(I am genuinely happy now.
