(<a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/w\/index.php?curid=49302938\">Photo by Georges Biard, CC BY-SA 3.0<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Quebec director Xavier Dolan is planning to return home to make his next feature film, according to the Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n<p>The trade publication says a screenplay has been completed for the French-language \u201cMatt &amp; Max,\u201d which Dolan plans to shoot in Quebec this fall.<\/p>\n<p>The film will reportedly tell the story of a group of twentysomethings, with the cast including Dolan&#8217;s real friends.<\/p>\n<p>Dolan says he wrote the film while shooting the upcoming \u201cBoy Erased,\u201d directed by Joel Edgerton and starring Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe.<\/p>\n<p>Dolan&#8217;s French-language drama \u201cIt&#8217;s Only the End of the World\u201d won the Grand Prix prize at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and six trophies at last year&#8217;s Canadian Screen Awards, including for best picture and best director.<\/p>\n<p>His English-language film \u201cThe Death and Life of John F. Donovan,\u201d starring Jessica Chastain, Natalie Portman and Kit Harington, is expected to hit theatres this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;ll make films here in Quebec for the rest of my life,\u201d Dolan tweeted Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m not attracted to industries or places. I&#8217;m attracted to people.
