(AC) is teaming up with BIM Group to jointly develop over 300 megawatts of solar power projects in Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>The initial phase of the 30-MW solar project broke ground Tuesday, with investment for this phase expected to reach 800 billion Vietnamese dong (VND) and to be completed within the year.<\/p>\n<p>The solar project is envisioned to be expanded by an additional 300 MWs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAC Energy is very keen to participate in the fast-growing Vietnam power sector, with pioneering investments in renewable energy,\u201d said AC Energy chief executive officer Eric Francia.<\/p>\n<p>A diversified firm in Vietnam, BIM Group has successfully established its mark in renewable energy and other business fields.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA \u2014 The energy unit of Ayala Corp.
