MANILA — Justice Secretary Leila de Lima denied Sandra Cam’s allegations that she has a sex tape, saying that the said tape is\u00a0a fake and that what Cam is doing is a crime.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know that\u2019s a threat. Didn\u2019t she know she\u2019s been committing a crime already all this time?\u201d De Lima told Senate reporters.<\/span><\/p>\n

De Lima also added thatit would be clear violation of the Anti-Voyeurism Law once Cam releases what she called “fake” tapes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure that\u2019s a fake. Remember whether it\u2019s fake or genuine, it\u2019s still a violation of Anti-Voyeurism Law,\u201d\u00a0De Lima said in an interview before her confirmation hearing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cam was earlier reported to have threatened the justice secretary of releasing the alleged sex video if her confirmation will be approved by the Commission on Appointments.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t. It\u2019s really demeaning . Attacks to me like that \u00a0(do) not deserve an ounce of dignified response. I refuse to be dragged in such gutter tactics,” De Lima said when asked why she is not taking actions against Cam.<\/span><\/p>\n
