{"id":147941,"date":"2018-01-22T01:47:13","date_gmt":"2018-01-22T06:47:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=147941"},"modified":"2018-01-22T01:49:10","modified_gmt":"2018-01-22T06:49:10","slug":"cayetano-slams-hrws-report-on-phs-human-rights-condition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2018\/01\/22\/cayetano-slams-hrws-report-on-phs-human-rights-condition\/","title":{"rendered":"Cayetano slams HRW\u2019s report on PH\u2019s human rights condition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Foreign Affairs slammed Human Rights Watch (HRW) for \u201cintentionally misleading\u201d the public with its report that the Philippines&#8217; human rights situation is at its worst since the presidency of strongman Ferdinand Marcos.<\/p>\n<p>Following HRW\u2019s release of its 2017 Global Report on Human Rights in which they hit anew the current administration\u2019s war on drugs, Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter S.
