But that&#8217;s foul. That&#8217;s the role of the government\u00a0&#8212; to provide venue.\u00a0<em>Kung may<\/em>\u00a0government offices,\u00a0<em>kailangan dun gagawin<\/em>\u00a0(It should be held in government offices),&#8221;\u00a0Bognot told reporters in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) has also appealed to Cayetano to reverse the DFA\u2019s decision to remove slots allotted to them.<\/p>\n<p>PTAA president, Marlene Dado Jante, said since last year, the agency had not indicated whether the removal is final.<\/p>\n<p>Cayetano said restoring their privilege at present could not be done.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;By law,\u00a0<em>nakalagay kung sino ang ipa-<\/em>prioritize\u00a0<em>namin. Yung<\/em>\u00a0persons with disability,\u00a0<em>yung<\/em>\u00a0pregnant,\u00a0<em>yung mga babae na may kasamang<\/em>below seven years old,\u00a0<em>may mga anak na<\/em>\u00a0below 10 years old, single parents, senior citizens\u00a0<em>at<\/em>\u00a0OFW (The law identifies those to be given priority \u2013 PWDs, pregnant women, women with children who are less than seven years old, those who have children less than 10 years old, single parents, senior citizens, and overseas Filipino workers),&#8221; he explained.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Kung bibigyan namin ng<\/em>\u00a0slot\u00a0<em>ang lahat ng mga<\/em>\u00a0travel agency,\u00a0<em>ang mangyayari, kung mas madaling kumuha sa kanila, para bang kung kailangan kong bumili ng<\/em>\u00a0ticket\u00a0<em>nila. Paano kung walang kakayahang bumili ng<\/em>\u00a0ticket? (If we give these travel agencies slots, it would appear that people need to buy tickets from them to avail easily of a slot.
