Dalan)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has provided medical assistance to 334 devotees who are taking part in the annual procession of the Black Nazarene.<\/p>\n<p>Data from the MMDA show that 238 hypertension cases, 82 suffering from various ailments, 10 injured, and four pregnant women are treated by personnel from the MMDA Road Emergency Group from January 7 to January 9 this morning.<\/p>\n<p>The Road Emergency Group has installed tents at the Quirino Grandstand to provide medical assistance for the devotees who participated in the \u2018Pahalik\u2019 and \u2018Traslacion\u2019 of the image of the Black Nazarene.<\/p>\n<p>The MMDA is also helping the Manila Police District\u00a0 in ensuring crowd control during the procession.
