(Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em><strong>Atlantic province nominated more than 1,400 immigrants in 2017<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nova Scotia says its Provincial Nominee Program nominated a record number of immigrants in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The Atlantic Canada province nominated more than 1,400 people through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/nova-scotia-provincial-nominee-program.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP)<\/a>, which accepts applications under five immigration streams.<\/p>\n<p>Those five streams are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/nova-scotia-provincial-nominee-program.html#NovaScotiaDemand:ExpressEntry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/nova-scotia-provincial-nominee-program.html#NovaScotiaExperience:ExpressEntry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/nova-scotia-provincial-nominee-program.html#SkilledWorkerStream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skilled Worker<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/nova-scotia-provincial-nominee-program.html#Entrepreneur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Entrepreneur<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/nova-scotia-provincial-nominee-program.html#InternationalGraduate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Graduate Entrepreneur<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One of the NSNP\u2019s most active components was<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/nova-scotia-demand-express-entry.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Category B of the NSNP\u2019s Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream,<\/a>\u00a0which\u00a0opened to applications three times in 2017 and reached its intake limit quickly each time.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants to this popular first-come, first-served immigration category do not need a job offer.
