MANILA — “Silence is better than BS.”<\/p>\n

Presidential sister and Philippine Queen of All Media Kris Aquino said on her primetime talk show with Boy Abunda on ABS-CBN that staying quiet is better than ‘BS’ after Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla’s senate privilege speech Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

In his speech, Revilla challenged PNoy and the administration to work better in order to solve the country’s problems instead of singling out officials from the opposition.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou still have two remaining years. Hindi tama at hindi maganda na maalala ka at ang iyong administrasyon sa pagpapakulong lamang ng mga hindi mo kaalyado,<\/em>\u201d said Revilla.<\/p>\n

(You still have two remaining years. It is not right and it is distasteful that people will remember you and your administration for sending non-party members to jail.)<\/p>\n

On her talk show, Kris defended her brother by saying,\u00a0\u201cThis is not an issue about PNoy and his presidency.\u00a0This is an issue about the pork barrel, na<\/em> thank God walang kinalaman si Noy doon.\u00a0Malinis ang konsensiya ng kapatid ko kaya malakas ang loob niya na isulong ang paglilinis ng gobyerno.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

(This is not an issue about PNoy and his presidency. This is an issue about the pork barrel, which thankfully Noy has nothing to do with. My brother’s conscience is clean, that’s why he has the courage to push the cleansing of our government.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to respect that their family is going through, but I also have to respect my family, my brother,” Kris added.\u00a0\u201cTo this day, 72 percent of the Filipino citizens say that he enjoys the trust and the support of the people, so let it be that.\u201d<\/p>\n

About voicing her concerns over TV, Kris said,\u00a0\u201cNabigyan siya [Bong] ng <\/em>all that time, so kaparatan ko rin naman sabihin ko na, ako, bilib sa kapatid ko.\u00a0<\/em>And pakiramdam ko, <\/em>majority ng Pilipinas<\/em> still agree with me.\u00a0At yung <\/em>two years na paulit-ulit,<\/em> well, it\u2019s still two years.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Bong was given all that time, so it’s my right to say that I have faith in my brother. And I feel that the majority of the Philippines will still agree with me. And the ‘two years’ that he [Bong] keeps on repeating, well, it’s still two years.)<\/p>\n
