Actress and TV host Kris Aquino reacted to netizens who call his son, Bimby Aquino Yap, \u201chomosexual\u201d or gay.<\/p>\n

This issue was first tackled by Kris in a video shared on social media where she gives netizens a tour of her new house.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s not easy to be my kids because wherever they go, \u2018di ba <\/em>(right), may<\/em> (there is) social media, may mga<\/em>\u00a0(there are) issues, may mga ano <\/em>(there are things)..<\/em>.\u201d Kris said.<\/p>\n

Bimby, who seems well aware of what people’s opinion of him, interrupted her mother and said, \u201cLike, people think, like, I’m homosexual.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kris then looked at his son and told him \u201cYeah, don’t be homophobic, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat’s the whole message, and whatever your choice is in life, that’s your choice,\u201d the TV host added.<\/p>\n

The 10-year-old child then asked netizens questioning his gender, \u201cWhy would you judge a child?\u201d<\/p>\n

His mom seconded and urged viewers to neither judge nor make decisions for a child.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s because we’re still learning about ourselves and puberty hasn’t struck for me yet,\u201d Bimby explained.<\/p>\n

In a Twitter post, Kris gave her message regarding the issue as she reposted a reaction of a netizen who defended her 10-year-old son, along with a video of Bimby\u2019s reaction to people who doubt his gender.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am doing my very best to raise a well-informed & respectful son. Thank you for recognizing that,\u201d Kris tweeted.<\/p>\n

Kris said that she supports his son in whatever life choices he shall make.<\/p>\n

\u201cI only pray that he shall remain kind-hearted, compassionate, responsible, studious, hardworking, articulate, determined and respectful,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Kris also expressed how proud she is of Bimby: \u201cHe has much thicker skin than me in dealing with bashers, trolls, and negativity.\u201d<\/p>\n
