{"id":141969,"date":"2017-12-26T20:53:06","date_gmt":"2017-12-27T01:53:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=141969"},"modified":"2017-12-26T20:53:06","modified_gmt":"2017-12-27T01:53:06","slug":"majority-of-filipinos-satisfied-with-duterte-performance-sws","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2017\/12\/26\/majority-of-filipinos-satisfied-with-duterte-performance-sws\/","title":{"rendered":"Majority of Filipinos satisfied with Duterte performance: SWS"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_140576\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-140576\" style=\"width: 1350px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/20171219-ph-ALCAIN-9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-140576\" src=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/20171219-ph-ALCAIN-9.jpg\" alt=\"FILE: President Rodrigo Roa Duterte  ALBERT ALCAIN\/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO\" width=\"1350\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/20171219-ph-ALCAIN-9.jpg 1350w, https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/20171219-ph-ALCAIN-9-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/20171219-ph-ALCAIN-9-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/20171219-ph-ALCAIN-9-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1350px) 100vw, 1350px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-140576\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">FILE: President Rodrigo Roa Duterte ALBERT ALCAIN\/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA \u2014<\/strong>\u00a0As the year draws to a close, President Rodrigo Duterte&#8217;s net satisfaction rating among Filipinos rebounds to &#8220;Very Good,&#8221; while his satisfaction score in Mindanao remained &#8220;Excellent,&#8221; the fourth-quarter survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) said.<\/p>\n<p>In its latest survey released Friday, the SWS found that majority or 71 percent of adult Filipinos were satisfied with the performance of this administration, higher by 4 percent than in the previous quarter at 67 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The survey showed only 13 percent of Filipinos were unsatisfied, while 15 percent were undecided.<\/p>\n<p>The ratings led to a net satisfaction rating of 58 percent, up from +48 percent (67 percent satisfied, 19 percent dissatisfied) in September 2017 or third quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The public opinion polling body also reported in its last quarter survey for 2017 that Duterte got &#8220;Very Good&#8221; satisfaction scores from all socioeconomic classes, among both men and women, from both urban and rural areas, and from all educational levels.<\/p>\n<p>The 10-point jump in the President&#8217;s satisfaction rating was driven mainly by his 84-percent satisfaction rating in Mindanao, which is classified as &#8220;Excellent,&#8221; followed by &#8220;Very Good&#8221; satisfaction ratings in Metro Manila, 73 percent; Visayas, 72 percent; and in other parts of Luzon, 64 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The SWS said Duterte got very good and higher net satisfaction ratings in all areas of the country.
