DAVAO CITY<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Twenty-six of the 37 charred bodies recovered inside the NCCC Mall in Davao City have already been identified, as of 11 p.m. Tuesday, by the authorities thru their relatives and friends and from the possession recovered with the bodies.<\/p>\n

In the City Government\u2019s official list, 26 fatalities were positively-identified, as follows:<\/p>\n

  7. Basalan, Jonas;<\/li>\n
  8. Samontina, Jessica;<\/li>\n
  9. Quimpo, Venus Joy;<\/li>\n
  10. Limosnero, Jimboy;<\/li>\n
  11. Ferraren, Christine Joy;<\/li>\n
  12. Montanez, Rosyl;<\/li>\n
  13. Artiaga, Missy Rose;<\/li>\n
  14. Muyco, Rhenzi Nova;<\/li>\n
  15. Roble, Ivan Nebelle;<\/li>\n
  16. Yorsua, Elyn Joy;<\/li>\n

    Melvin Ga-a was not included in the initial official list of 37 missing persons but his body was positively identified by his family and friends. Ga-a was an employee of NCCC assigned at the mall\u2019s Home D\u00e9cor section, not a call center agent of SSI.<\/p>\n

    The foreign-sounding name in the initial list, Hongijangjian, was meanwhile removed from the official list as authorities suspect the earlier information was either an error or a prank.<\/p>\n

    The person who listed the name cannot be contacted.<\/p>\n
