KARL NORMAN ALONZO\/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Japanese government on Monday vowed to provide assistance to the Philippine government after two consecutive deadly incidents during Christmas holidays hit the country.<\/p>\n<p>Japan said that it is ready to help those who are affected by the tropical storm Vinta and New City Commercial Center (NCCC) Davao City mall fire.<\/p>\n<p>Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in a statement expressed sympathy and willingness to extend assistance and provision of emergency relief goods \u201cto the maximum extend possible\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJapan stands with the Philippines in overcoming this time of difficulties.
