Former president Benigno Aquino III dismissed allegations that he is involved in a destabilization plot against President Rodrigo Duterte.<\/p>\n

at the Manila Memorial Park in Para\u00f1aque, Aquino told reporters, \u201cIf things aren\u2019t going right, if promises are not fulfilled, or if words are not kept \u2013 these are what create dissatisfaction, and it\u2019s not coming from us. Maybe they should look around them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aquino said he does not see the need for him to initiate actions that would oppose the possibility of Duterte declaring a revolutionary government and stressed that he does not see the necessity for the chief executive to do so.<\/p>\n

If the current system and its institutions could not function effectively anymore, Aquino said that is the only time that he might consider supporting a revolutionary government.<\/p>\n
