{"id":141171,"date":"2017-12-22T03:33:31","date_gmt":"2017-12-22T08:33:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=141171"},"modified":"2017-12-22T03:33:31","modified_gmt":"2017-12-22T08:33:31","slug":"duterte-to-bare-his-bank-records-at-the-right-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2017\/12\/22\/duterte-to-bare-his-bank-records-at-the-right-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Duterte to bare his bank records \u201cat the right time\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Amid mixed perceptions on why the president refuses to divulge his bank records, Malaca\u00f1ang on Tuesday assured that President Rodrigo Duterte will do so \u201cif necessary and at the right time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella said that despite the president being uncooperative in the demands to open his bank records; it should not be seen as an indication of his avoidance to have his alleged ill-gotten wealth investigated as he is just trying to focus first on ridding off corruption in the government.<\/p>\n<p>As Abella puts it, \u201cThe President is really coming from the position where he knows exactly what the picture is.
