Normal na ‘yung mga ganung comments. But there was one na nagulat na lang ako. Shocks, ang dumi ng tingin nila sa akin, ang pangit-pangit ng tingin nila sa pagkapayat ko (I’m used to it at that point where many were reacting to my weight loss. Those comments are normal. But there was one that shocked me. Shocks, they hold me in low regard. They think my weight loss is extremely unpleasant),” she stressed, referring to a commenter who accused her of being anorexic.

In October, Jasmine, the younger sister of Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis, shared a selfie where she looks thinner than usual. Netizens and fans were shocked and worried with the state of health of the actress, some of them even commented that she might be suffering from anorexia.

The actress said her weight loss can be ascribed to the fact that she no longer has a maid or a driver to attend to her.

“Nabigla ‘yung katawan ko (My body was forced) because wala na akong (I have no) maid or driver. This is my first time to do all the chores, take care of two dogs, go to work, prepare for a wedding coming up, travel so many different times na hindi naman sanay ‘yung katawan ko (my body is not used to it),” she added.

Jasmine admitted that the comment had an effect on her.

“I’m a mental health advocate and I, myself have gone through depression and anxiety and for a while, bumalik siya (it came back) because I felt like that was all I heard,” she explained.

She earlier confessed that she got depressed when people called her “anorexic” and “malnourished.”

“It affected me, it gave me anxiety, it made me so depressed that people calling me out like that,” the actress was quoted as saying in a Philippine Entertainment Portal report.

“It is so hurtful that people don’t understand na kaming mga nasa industriya, tinatanggap naman namin lahat (we, who are in the industry, accept it all),” she added.

The 23-year-old actress said that the public feel like they are entitled to call out the way a person looks just because they don’t like it. Jasmine added that she was saddened by the people who talk viciously.

Contrary to those comments, there are some netizens who told her to have herself checked by a doctor because they were concerned.

She then assured her fans that she undergoes regular health check-ups to ensures that she stays healthy.

Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith on Thursday said she is confident that there is nothing unhealthy about her weight loss and that …

[2,46
4279,40097,10400,16361
post-141147","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","category-entertainment-ph","tag-accusation","tag-anorexia","tag-jasmine-curtis-smith","tag-weight-loss","mauthors-joanna-belle-deala","mauthors-philippine-canadian-inquirer
["GET
