This happened. Thanks for visiting the island, Aga.”

Currently, Lea is in New York as she is part of the Broadway show “Once on This Island,” suggesting that Aga watched her perform.

This is not the first time for the veteran actor to do so as he has posted on his Instagram account, watching another of Lea’s show with his spouse Charlene Gonzales last year.

While both celebrities are happy with their respective married and family lives, a spur of love vibes and flying hearts still surround the two for fans especially when Aga’s letter for Lea released in 2013, became viral on June this year.

Fans feasted on Aga’s love letter that was included in Lea’s book entitled “Lea Salonga Playlist: A Celebration of 35 years” after a netizen posted a photo of it.

“Lea is the one that got away. And she never knew,” part of his letter read.

Aga went on by saying that they are wiser and more mature now, and that love for her did not disappear but he is happy to have her by his side as a friend.

On July, in a guesting in morning talk show Magandang Buhay, Lea narrated her experience after reading his letter of confession back then.

“[My editor and I] were both in shock. Kaming pareho (Both of us), we were looking at his letter. Frozen in my chair,” Lea said.

She commented that it was a sweet gesture from Aga and that right now she is happy that they are friends.

“Bad timing talaga (really),” Lea began saying, then elaborating that in their first movie she had a boyfriend, and on their second, it was Aga who had a girlfriend.

“So talagang hindi kami (we are not really) meant in real life,” she said.

Lea and Aga were supposed to have their reunion movie in 2015, but it was postponed because their schedules did not match. Earlier this year, a lot were disappointed that this movie will not be hitting the big screen anytime soon.

On a more positive note though, Aga assured that their movie will push through, but they do not know when.

Yup.
