(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mainedcm\/photos\/a.475255442822838.1073741832.420018425013207\/475259859489063\/?type=3&amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mainedcm\/\">Maine Mendoza\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza is set to step her feet on <em>Eat Bulaga\u2019s<\/em> stage again after she took a long break from the entertainment universe.<\/p>\n<p>The good news was confirmed by Maine\u2019s talent manager, Rams David.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDefinitely Maine will be back on <em>Eat Bulaga<\/em> <em>para sa kaalaman ng<\/em> fans <em>niyang nakaka-<\/em>miss <em>sa kanya <\/em>(To fans who miss her, definitely Maine will be back on <em>Eat Bulaga<\/em>)<em>,\u201d<\/em> Rams was quoted as saying in a Bandera report.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNapagod lang si<\/em>\u00a0Meng\u00a0so <em>humingi ng<\/em> break. <em>Naiintindihan naman namin yon.\u00a0<\/em>Imagine\u00a0two years <em>siyang walang pahinga. Sumabak siya sa mundo ng<\/em>\u00a0showbiz\u00a0<em>nang walang kaalam-alam <\/em>(Maine got tired so she asked for a break and we understand that. Imagine, she had no breaks from the last two years. She entered the showbiz world without knowing anything)<em>,\u201d <\/em>the talent manager stressed.<\/p>\n<p>In a report from Philippine Star Ngayon, Rams said that the actress is with her family in the United States for their Christmas vacation.<\/p>\n<p>The 22-year-old actress will be flying back to Manila on December 31 and will appear on television screen again in January 1, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Rams also addressed Maine\u2019s emotional open-letter to fans in November, wherein the actress expressed mixed emotions of gratitude and indignation over the support and attention her fans shower her.<\/p>\n<p>The talent manager said that Maine pleaded for freedom to feel what she wants to feel, be who she wants to be, and do what she wants to do.<\/p>\n<p>The actress\u2019 open-letter sparked idle talks, including a hearsay that she will transfer to another network. Rams, however, said that there&#8217;s no truth this claim.<\/p>\n<p>Maine made her name after posting Dubsmash videos that went viral on Facebook. She was later invited by GMA as one of the talents in the <em>\u2018Kalyeserye\u2019 <\/em>segment of <em>Eat Bulaga<\/em>, portraying the role of <em>\u201cYaya Dub,\u201d <\/em>and the other half of the famous love team <em>AlDub<\/em>, along with actor Alden Richards.<\/p>\n<p>As Maine comes back to the showbiz world, Rams also shared that the actress has three endorsements lined up for next year.<\/p>\n<p>Asked about updates on Maine\u2019s movie with Alden, the talent manager said that the film will push through but the concept has been changed.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTuloy pa rin yon. Binago na lang ang<\/em> concept. <em>Hindi na yung may<\/em> action. <em>Gusto namin yung maganda talagang<\/em> story (The movie will continue. But the concept changed. It will no longer be an action-packed film.
