{"id":140488,"date":"2017-12-19T05:35:07","date_gmt":"2017-12-19T10:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=140488"},"modified":"2017-12-19T05:35:07","modified_gmt":"2017-12-19T10:35:07","slug":"dict-chief-offers-to-leave-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2017\/12\/19\/dict-chief-offers-to-leave-post\/","title":{"rendered":"DICT Chief offers to leave post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Rodrigo Duterte\u2019s cabinet had its seventh official to quit from post, as Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Rodolfo Salalima offered to resign, Malaca\u00f1ang confirmed\u00a0on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Salalima has been serving the Duterte administration for one year and two months.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said in a statement that Salalima has tendered his letter of resignation to the president, citing both personal and work-related reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the president bared that Salalima\u2019s resignation was due to conflict of interest, explaining that, &#8220;He used to work for a telecom company. He was the VP&#8230;I would not say that he\u2019s guilty.
