Bashar Assad will be there.\u2019\u2018<\/p>\n<p>Under those circumstances, \u2018\u2018We have to talk to everybody, we have to talk to Bashar Al-Assad and his representatives,\u2019\u2018 the French leader said, adding: \u2018\u2018Afterward, he must answer for his crimes before his people, before\u00a0<strong><em>international<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0justice.\u2019\u2018<\/p>\n<p>The France 2 interview was recorded five days ago, during a global climate summit Macron hosted two years after the signing of the landmark Paris climate agreement.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. President Donald Trump was not invited to the summit because he plans to pull out of the Paris accord.
