It will also protect your hair from direct sunlight and intense heat, which can damage your hair.

It’s the time of the year to feel like a celebrity and wear those huge, dark sunglasses. But they are way more than just an accessory, so make sure that your sunglasses have UV-protected lenses to protect your peepers. Wearing shades will also allow you to secretly survey the guy situation by the beach without making you look creepy.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1371" alt="Loving Vanessa's beach waves? Follow the tips below. Photo from Juxtapost.com

Pick your locks

Beach waves are very easy to achieve, all you need are clean socks and some hair gel or mousse. Before going to bed, apply a small amount of hair mousse or gel on your hair (depending on how much of your hair you want to curl) until it’s slightly damp but not sticking together. Divide your hair into two halves. Take a clean, long sock and wind up your hair (until desired length) at the middle of the sock and then take both ends of the sock and tie it together to secure your hair. Repeat the procedure with the other half of your hair. Leave the sock-knotted hair overnight as you sleep. When you wake up, just untie the sock and shake your head and let your hair fall naturally in place. This is a good technique, too, since you won’t use any heat on your locks.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-full wp-image-1370" alt="Model Petra Nemcova looks absolutely stunning with her slicked back look.
