This is not just about me or my family, but for the future of my grandchildren and my fellow senators,\u201d Sotto said.r<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201c<em>Tinuluyan ko na talaga [magsampa ng kaso]<\/em> (I really continued the filing of the complaint).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a post in its Facebook page last September 26, Silent No More PH \u2013 a blog known to critic the Duterte administration, attached a link to an article entitled \u201cMalaca\u00f1ang Dogs in the Senate\u201d tagging Sotto and six other senators.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sotto, though the blog \u2018invented\u2019 a fake story, his complaint centered on the name-calling aspect of the post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Balewala \u2018yung sinasabi niya [na] hindi kami pumirma. Nag-imbento siya ng istorya ganoon na mali, na hindi naman kami pinapirma talaga. Balewala \u2018yun. \u2018Yung <\/em>name-calling <em>niya ang<\/em> libelous (Claiming that we did not sign or inventing an untrue story of us not signing do not matter. The name-calling is what is libelous),\u201d he said last week, announcing plans of filing a complaint.<\/p>\n<p>The blog post referred to them refusing to sign a resolution prepared by Senator Francisco \u201cKiko\u201d Pangilinan, condemning the killings of minors related to the President\u2019s campaign to eradicate illegal drugs in the country. As of writing, the Facebook page has not deleted the post, but the attached link is inaccessible.<\/p>\n<p>The mentioned senators denied this and insisted that contrary to the blog\u2019s claim that they \u201crefused,\u201d they were actually not informed nor asked to sign the said resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Pangilinan in his defense, said that it was not intentional to exclude the seven senators.
