This is a great opportunity for artists and arts organizations based in Scarborough to further develop and showcase projects which highlight Scarborough&#8217;s cultural mosaic. The end goal of the Cultural Hotspot is to develop a sustainable, diverse and inclusive arts sector in Scarborough while highligting our most resilient communities and their artistic capabilites.<\/p>\n<p>From May through October 2018, the Cultural Hotspot program will shine a spotlight on arts, culture and community in Centre\/North Scarborough (Steeles Avenue to the north, Lawrence Avenue to the south, Victoria Park Avenue to the west and the Toronto border to the east). The program inspires new ideas about where culture thrives in Toronto.
