Photo courtesy of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dpwh.gov.ph\/ppp\/main2.asp?page=a1\">DPWH<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Monday accepted the technical bids of four groups including Ayala and San Miguel for the P35.4-billion Cavite-Laguna Expressway (Calax) project.<\/p>\n<p>Calax is the DPWH\u2019s third infrastructure project under the government\u2019s flagship public-private partnership (PPP) program.<\/p>\n<p>The first project was the Daang Hari-SLEX road project to improve the connectivity of the Daang Hari to SLEX and decongest traffic in Cavite, Las Pi\u00f1as and Muntinlupa and the second was the NAIA Expressway.<\/p>\n<p>The four pre-qualified bidders are Malaysia&#8217;s MTD Capital Bhd, Metro Pacific-led MPCALA Holdings, San Miguel&#8217;s Optimal Infrastructure Development Inc.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> buy vidalista online <a href=\"https:\/\/azpsych.org\/general\/october\/html\/vidalista.html\">https:\/\/azpsych.org\/general\/october\/html\/vidalista.html<\/a> no prescription pharmacy <\/div>\n<p> and Team Orion of the Ayala Corporation and Aboitiz Land Inc.<\/p>\n<p>Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson said the department will schedule the submission and opening date of the financial offer of the groups with compliant technical proposals.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We hope to complete the process by Friday,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The 44.6-kilometer Calax project is expected to connect Cavite and Laguna directly which would greatly help reduce travel time between and around the area. The two highly industrialized and urbanized provinces are home to hundreds of international and multinational electronic, semiconductor, automotive and manufacturing companies aside from numerous residential development projects.<\/p>\n<p>Calax has interchanges in eight (8) locations, namely: Kawit, Open Canal, Governor\u2019s Drive, Aguinaldo Highway at Silang, Silang East, Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Laguna Boulevard, and Technopark.
