(<a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/w\/index.php?curid=48250875\">Photo By StormFire2016. &#8211; Own work., CC BY-SA 4.0<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>SINGAPORE<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; A Singapore Mass Rapid Transit Cooperation (SMRT Cooperation) train of the East-West line collided with a stationary train at Joo Koon MRT station at about 8 a.m. local time Wednesday, causing injury to at least 23 people, local media reported.<\/p>\n<p>Local media Lianhe Zaobao quoted Singapore Civil Defence Force sources as saying that the 23 injured passengers were sent to hospitals, and majority sustained minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>It is not the only fault made by Singapore&#8217;s MRT system on Wednesday morning that caused train delays and commuter frustration.<\/p>\n<p>According to Channel NewsAsia, a signaling fault caused delays on the Circle Line, which made trains congested and huge crowds seen at an interchange station.<\/p>\n<p>SMRT was recently troubled by a tunnel flooding incident that occurred in October.
