File photo: PhilNews<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Mild earthquakes shook the provinces of Davao Occidental and Surigao Del Sur on Monday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).<\/p>\n<p>In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the first quake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred at 3:01 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The epicenter of the quake was traced some 269 kilometers southeast of Sarangani in Davao Occidental.<\/p>\n<p>The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 16 kilometers.
