(<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?curid=53738935\">Photo By Source, Fair use<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>LOS ANGELES \u2014 The God of Thunder had an even mightier opening weekend than expected. \u201cThor: Ragnarok,\u201d the third film in the series, scored a franchise best with a robust $122.7 million debut, making it the fourth-biggest opening of 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The Walt Disney Co. and Marvel film easily took the top spot for the weekend. In second place was \u201cA Bad Moms Christmas,\u201d with $16.8 million. The sequel to last year&#8217;s sleeper hit \u201cBad Moms\u201d opened on Wednesday and has netted $21.3 million to date.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the top five were \u201cJigsaw,\u201d in third with $6.6 million, \u201cTyler Perry&#8217;s Boo 2!
