Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0)<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA\u2014<\/strong>\u00a0The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday confirmed that no Filipino was among the casualties in the massacre that killed 26\u00a0attending church services in San Antonio, Texas over the weekend.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"adn ads\">\n<div class=\"gs\">\n<div id=\":sx\" class=\"ii gt adP adO\">\n<div id=\":sw\" class=\"a3s aXjCH m15f8faf5360c703f\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Twenty persons were also injured in the incident which took place in the small town of Sutherland Springs outside San Antonio.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles said none of the 7,400 Filipinos in San Antonio were among those reported in the incident.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz reported that a lone gunman walked inside the First Baptist Church past 11 a.m. and fired his rifle at people attending church services.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The gunman fled immediately after the incident and was later found dead with a gunshot wound inside his vehicle.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Authorities are still investigating the incident, which has been described as the largest mass shooting in Texas history.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">DFA\u00a0Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano has extended condolences to the victims&#8217;
