The hottest loveteam Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto confirmed that they would be joining two movie icons Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla in an upcoming film.<\/p>\n

This was announced by Barretto and Garcia in an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, following the success of their movie entitled Love You to the Stars and Back (LYSB<\/em>).<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMay gagawin kaming pelikula <\/em>[We will do a film]. Very exciting ito<\/em> [this] with Ms. Sharon Cuneta and Sir Robin Padilla. Abangan na lang po natin ang magiging storya niya pero malupit po ito <\/em>[Let us just wait for the story, I’m sure it is going to be a blast],\u201d Garcia said.<\/p>\n

Garcia and Barretto were promoting their partnership with streaming service iflix, which will showcase their movie Love You to the Stars and Back<\/em> online.<\/p>\n

Barretto, for her part, chimed in: \u201cWe were very shocked but at the same time, we really just grabbed the opportunity because this doesn\u2019t happen all the time. We are going to be working with icons.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garcia added that Cuneta and Padilla rarely have movies together and that they were happy that they were give roles in the film.<\/p>\n

In September, the megastar has dropped a clue that she will do a reunion movie with Padilla, adding that it would be a romantic-comedy film.<\/p>\n

“I cannot wait because Robin is really my favorite person to work with. He’s like my twin; ganyan ang tawagan namin, kambal <\/em>[that\u2019s what we call each other, twins]. We are very much alike. My happiest shooting experiences have always been with Robin,” Cuneta said in excitement.<\/p>\n

The iconic movie stars starred in the box office hits \u201cMaging Sino Ka Man,\u201d<\/em> \u201cDi Na Natuto,\u201d<\/em> and \u201cPagdating ng Panahon.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, JoshLia announced that they will also have their own television show, but details of the show have yet to be disclosed next month.<\/p>\n

Garcia and Barretto first worked together in the 2016 Filipino teen romantic movie entitled Vince and Kath and James<\/em>, followed by a 2017 Filipino romantic comedy film Love You to the Stars and Back<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
