(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ltfrb.citizen.enforcer\/photos\/a.1417559258485998.1073741829.1416241841951073\/1759309374310983\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ltfrb.citizen.enforcer\/\">LTFRB Citizen Enforcer\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA\u00a0&#8212; Students are now entitled to fare discounts even during weekends and holidays, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said.<\/p>\n<p>This as the LTFRB issued an order stating that students may avail of the twenty percent discount from Monday to Sunday, including summer breaks and holidays starting October 28.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStudents can avail of the 20 percent discount from Monday to Sunday including summer breaks, legal and special holidays,\u201d the Board said in its memorandum circular (MC) dated October 11 amending MC \u200e2005-014.<\/p>\n<p>MC \u200e2005-014 states that students may only be granted fare discounts during the school year from Mondays to Fridays.
