(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GMANetwork\/photos\/a.182187471807658.49967.182187128474359\/894222023937529\/?type=1&amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GMANetwork\/\">GMA Network\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Leading broadcast station GMA Network has officially started implementing closed captioning beginning October, becoming the first local TV station in the country to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Offering a more inclusive viewing experience, GMA\u2019s closed captioning enables its viewers to read a full transcription of the dialogue as well as other key elements of the program such as background music, effects, etc. at the bottom part of the screen.
