(ROBINSON NI\u00d1AL JR.\/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>President Rodrigo Duterte is unfazed of the big drop in his trust and net satisfaction ratings in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.<\/p>\n<p>The drop is said to be Duterte\u2019s biggest dip in ratings since he became the President.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt does not really matter to me. <em>Kasi \u2018yung lahat na ginagawa ko<\/em> [Because all of the things I&#8217;m\u00a0doing], those were exactly the words that I used during the campaign,\u201d the president said in an interview over state-run PTV-4.<\/p>\n<p>The Third Quarter of 2017 SWS Survey conducted from September 23-27 showed that with Duterte\u2019s performance, 67% of adult Filipinos are satisfied, 14% are undecided, and 19% are dissatisfied.<\/p>\n<p>The gross satisfaction fell by 11 points from 78% in June with the gross undecided increasing by four points from 10%, and gross dissatisfaction rising by seven points from 12%.<\/p>\n<p>[Read:<a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2017\/10\/08\/sws-rodys-satisfaction-trust-ratings-drop\/\" target=\"_blank\"> SWS: Rody\u2019s satisfaction, trust ratings drop<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Yung<\/em> ratings, <em>maski mag-abot ako ng<\/em> zero. <em>Wala \u2018yun\u2026 May trabaho ako<\/em>\u00a0[The ratings, even if I get zero, it&#8217;s nothing. I have a job], zero, zero, plus. <em>Ganon pa rin, mag-trabaho ako kasi pinangako ko<\/em> [It&#8217;s just the same, I have to do my job because it&#8217;s my promise],\u201d Duterte said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have to honor but I promised because that is my covenant with the people,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The president said that he is not bothered if the ratings make him unpopular because it is nonsense.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Kung ako\u2019y makulong at mamatay dahil diyan, pasensya<\/em> [If I will be jailed or killed because of that, I&#8217;m sorry]. <em>At ako nama\u2019y lumigaya at nagawa ko lahat ng pinangako ko sa Pilipinas\u00a0<\/em>[I am happy because I have done what I have promised for the Philippines], that is my personal satisfaction,\u201d Duterte said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Kung hindi ninyo nagustuhan noon o ngayon, o ngayon lang ang ginagawa ko, eh pasensya na po<\/em> [If you don&#8217;t like what I&#8217;m doing even before, or just now, I&#8217;m sorry]. I am not hungry for statistics. <em>Tapos na po \u2018yan. \u2018Yung 16 million po, \u2018yun na \u2018yung statistics ko. Ngayon, dumating ang panahon na hindi niyo kayang lunukin \u2018yung sinabi ko. Problema ninyo \u2018yan, hindi ko problema \u2018yan<\/em> [That&#8217;s already done. The 16 million is my statistics. Now, the time has come when you can&#8217;t swallow what I say. It&#8217;s your problem, not mine],\u201d Duterte added.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte reiterated his loyalty to the country, even using the same principle from former President Manuel L. Quezon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be truthful. <em>Maghiram <\/em>na<em> lang <\/em>ako<em> ng<\/em> [I will just borrow]\u2014 I think it\u2019s the words of President Quezon when he said, &#8216;My loyalty to the party ends where my loyalty to my country begins,&#8217;\u201d Duterte said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIbahin<em> ko lang ho<\/em> [I just changed it a bit]. The human rights of the criminals end where the survival of my country begins.
