(PNA Photo)\" width=\"415\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Duterte-Bato.jpg 415w, https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Duterte-Bato-300x188.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 415px) 100vw, 415px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-110383\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">FILE: PNP head Director General Ronald &#8220;Bato&#8221; Dela Rosa and President Rodrigo Duterte (PNA Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) became the \u2018sole agency\u2019 to lead President Rodrigo Duterte\u2019s war on drugs, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald \u201cBato\u201d Dela Rosa ended \u2018Oplan Tokhang\u2019 and \u2018Oplan Double Barrel\u2019 on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The PNP Chief said that his men are tagged to several crimes, which prompted them to just focus on other crimes and \u2018internal cleansing\u2019 now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Dito [sa Oplan Tokhang] kami napapasama dahil itong mga pumapatay na ito\u2019y pinagbibintangan na mga pulis o kaya tino<\/em>-tolerate <em>ng pulis <\/em>(Oplan Tokhang is what blackens our image because the police are pointed as either the ones behind the killings or the ones who tolerate it),\u201d Dela Rosa told DZMM.<\/p>\n<p>While he said in a press briefing, \u201c<em>Humanda kayo at ibubuhos namin ang galit namin sa inyo, sa<\/em> riding-in-tandem. <em>Tingnan natin kung hindi kayo maubos<\/em> (Be ready for we will use our anger to get those riding-in-tandem. Let us see if they will not be gone).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Duterte on Thursday, during the relaunching of the Malaca\u00f1ang Press Briefing Room explained his decision on PDEA and PNP, by elaborating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The President also cited information on the number of deaths and casualties involving his campaign on drugs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo <em>ibigay natin [ang <\/em>war on drugs<em>] sa<\/em> PDEA, <em>kasi<\/em> lesser <em>ang patay eh. Dalawa lang o <\/em>(let us give the war on drugs to PDEA, since there are lesser deaths. Just two),\u201d the Chief Executive said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that this was a \u2018better\u2019 option especially for those with \u2018bleeding hearts\u2019 and to the media.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Kasi ginawa ko na talaga lahat ang magagawa ko, ito na <\/em>(You see, I already did everything I can. So here).
