MANILA<\/strong>\u2014 A low pressure area (LPA) spotted in the vicinity of Maddela, Quirino will cause rains over Luzon, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected over Bicol, Cagayan, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands.<\/p>\n

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, mostly in the afternoon or in the evening.<\/p>\n

Moderate to strong winds will prevail over Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.<\/p>\n

In eastern Visayas, moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow from northwest to southwest, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
