(<a href=\"http:\/\/pcoo.gov.ph\/photos\/?post_id=53843\" target=\"_blank\">Photo by Richard Madelo\/Presidential Photo<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>MANILA, Philippines\u2014There would be no celebration once Marawi is liberated from ISIS-linked terrorists, President Rodrigo Duterte said on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Sabi ko nga sa mga sundalo<\/em> [As what I\u2019ve told soldiers], we will not have any celebration. We will just go out quietly. Pack their things and go home,\u201d Duterte said.<\/p>\n<p>The president was in Camp Ranao in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur for his fifth visit to the troops fighting terrorists in the conflict-stricken town. His visit indicates the \u201ccontinuously improving conditions on the ground,\u201d Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, Duterte said that he will opt on holding a thanksgiving mass for the soldiers who completed their duty and those who died in battle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a very sad incident in the life of the soldiers. I will not insist on a celebration because <em>walang nanalo dito<\/em> [nobody won here],\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The president stressed that the government forces did not want for this war to rage on but was simply responding to terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually, <em>kayong mga<\/em> Maute <em>d\u2019yan pati mga<\/em> [those Maute out there as well as] remaining terorista [terrorists], we do not claim any victory over you <em>kung napatay ka o nahirapan ka<\/em> [if you were killed or suffered],\u201d Duterte said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are all losers here. <em>Maraming nawala at maraming sugatan<\/em> [Many died and many were wounded],\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Martial Law would be over<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The president also vowed to lift the martial law imposed in Mindanao once terrorists are neutralized.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt (martial law) will be lifted. Anytime.
