Ralph Cabales Trangia, one of the suspects in the death of University of Santo Tomas (UST) law student Horacio \u201cAtio\u201d Castillo III, has fled to another country, according to the Bureau of Immigration (BI).<\/p>\n

BI Spokesperson Ma. Antonette Mangrobang said in a text message to the media that Trangia left the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for Taipei on September 19. He departed two days after Castillo III was brought to the Chinese General Hospital, aboard EVA Airways flight BR262.<\/p>\n

However, in a text message with PhilStar.com, BI Ports Division Chief Marc Red Mari\u00f1as said that Triangia left for China instead.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with ANC, Mangrobang said, \u201cBased on the report of our port operations division chief, it appears that he was with a female companion, presumably his mother.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trangia is said by the police to be the driver of the red pickup vehicle that brought Castillo\u2019s body to the hospital.<\/p>\n

Together with 15 more names, Trangia is included in the Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) issued by Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe rest [of the suspects] appears to still be in the country or do not have enough information on their identity to ascertain if they are the same person as the one appearing in BI records,\u201d Mangrobang said.<\/p>\n
