RICHARD MADELO\/PRESIDENTIAL PHOTO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Duterte admitted that he invented the alleged Singapore bank account number of Trillanes which he revealed last September 15 in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Binasa ko, binawasan ko ng<\/em> number. <em>Wala ito, imbento lang<\/em>\u00a0(I read it and I removed some numbers. This is nothing, I just invented it),&#8221; Duterte said during his PTV interview with Erwin Tulfo on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The chief executive laughed on Trillanes\u2019 move of flying to Singapore and said that he is just tricking the senator.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the president revealed that Trillanes has several offshore bank accounts, particularly account number \u201c178000296012\u201d at DBS bank in Singapore that has a balance of 193,000.<\/p>\n<p>However, Duterte said that the correct account number was &#8220;1178000281602&#8221; which was reposted by Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson and Tulfo.<\/p>\n<p>The President added that according to the foreign government, Trillanes kept flying back and forth to Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually September <em>pa<\/em> Trillanes <em>pabalik-balik kana sa<\/em> Singapore banks, <em>yung ibang<\/em> bank account <em>mo <\/em>sa Hongkong <em>kinlose mo<\/em> [Actually since September, you\u2019ve been flying back and forth to Singapore, you closed your other bank accounts in Hongkong],\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Trillanes belied the accusations of Duterte about his alleged ill-gotten wealth by flying to Singapore on Monday to prove that there are no bank accounts in his and his fathers\u2019 name in the said Singaporean bank.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Pusoy<\/em> <em>ka na,<\/em> Duterte. <em>Nagsisinungaling ka. Yung<\/em> certification,<em> sinabi sa akin ng<\/em> bank manager <em>na di <\/em>sila <em>makakapagbigay dahil di ako kliyente o naging kliyente<\/em> [You\u2019re caught, Duterte. You\u2019re lying. The bank manager said that they couldn&#8217;t give a certification because I am not their client and never was],&#8221; Trillanes said.<\/p>\n<p>[Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2017\/09\/20\/trillanes-flies-to-singapore-claims-no-offshore-accounts\/\">Trillanes flies to Singapore claims, no offshore accounts<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>In the latter part of his interview, he said that he would soon reveal the other bank account numbers of Trillanes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duterte&#8217;s own internal logic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella when asked about the President&#8217;s credibility, assured the public that Duterte has sources and it was part of his game plan to bait Trillanes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>May<\/em> <em>kanya-kanya pong<\/em> style [To each his own style].
