Downie&#8217;s health condition meant the band was never entirely certain if they&#8217;d be able to complete the tour.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNormally there&#8217;s a lot of preparation,\u201d de Pencier added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was: &#8216;No, we&#8217;re running away and we&#8217;re joining the circus.
