Malaca\u00f1ang reiterated on Tuesday that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte\u2019s campaign on drugs did not include a shoot-to-kill order against suspects, denouncing the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights\u2019 (UNHCR) speech on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are deeply concerned with the UNHCR Zeid Ra\u2019ad Al Hussein\u2019s sweeping statements during the UNHR Council\u2019s 36th<\/sup> session, citing instances bereft of factual basis. Mr. Al Hussein\u2019s broad references about the supposed policies of the President run counter to what he continues to pronounce,\u201d Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said.<\/p>\n

Abella mentioned that the President has \u2018categorically and repeatedly\u2019 denied the existence of a shoot-to-kill order, furthering that drug killings are all subject to investigations.<\/p>\n
