(PNA photo)<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Philippine Director General Ronald \u201cBato\u201d Dela Rosa confirmed in a press briefing on Monday that the transfer of Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido to Iloilo will not push through.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Si presidente mismo ang nagbigay ng <\/em>instruction<em> na huwag nang ituloy dahil nga baka ma<\/em>-demoralize <em>mga tao sa <\/em>Ozamis<em> kung tanggalin natin si <\/em>Espenido<em> doon<\/em> [It was President Rodrigo Duterte who gave the instruction to not continue his (Espenido) transfer because it might demoralize the people of Ozamis, if we will remove Espenido there],&#8221; the director general said.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;May balita nga na baka mag<\/em>\u00a0people power\u00a0<em>pag tinanggal doon si <\/em>Espenido<em>.<\/em>\u00a0<em>Kaya nagbago isip ni presidente sabi niya pag bigyan muna natin ang nga taga\u00a0<\/em>Ozamis<em>, wag muna natin alisin si <\/em>Espenido<em> doon<\/em>\u00a0[There&#8217;s news that there might\u00a0be a people power if Espenido will be transferred.
